I thought episode 454 was really good and worth a listen for everyone.  The story teller talks about the conditions of where all your technology is made.  Pretty interesting.

I ran it with the stroller carying the two girls. They were all bundled up and shaking jingle bells the whole way. We got our first snow fall and got to run right by the house we were staying at. It was a lot of fun.

This weekend I am riding in the Salsa Two-Four race.  It's a mountain bike race at Afton Alps where you see how many laps you can ride in 24 hours.  Yes, I am riding it solo, but no I am not one of those crazies who literally ride their bike for 24 hours straight.  I'll be taking a lot of breaks and even sleeping for a lot of the night.  I only have enough battery to get two night laps in.

If you're in the area come out and watch, I'll have a follow up post on how it all went.

Here is how I ended up with in order of draft:

I did the Apple Duathlon this morning.  I wasn't expecting to do great, finished right where I thought I would.  2hours 15minutes and 56seconds.

It was pretty tough.  For those of you who don't know it is a 5k run, 33k bike and another 5k run.

The first run went well, ~26mins.  I followed that with a 1hour and 10min bike ride which is also decent.  However, after getting off the bike and running up the big hill I cramped up hard.  I had to stop and stretch my hamstring.  I actually thought there was no way I was going to be able to finish.  Luckily the stretching worked and I was able to finish at a very slow pace, 36min run.

I am glad I did it and hope to do it next year mixed in with some more training.
